Anthony J. Reefer

Anthony J. Reefer, 23, of Plumcreek Twp., PA, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016 as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born November 21, 1992 in Kittanning, PA to Gregory J. Reefer and Elana (Anderson) Staschak.

Anthony attended Elderton High School and West Shamokin High School, and was a certified mechanic at Valero RV Sales. He was a true motorhead with a need for speed. Anthony loved quads, motorcycles, bikes and trucks, and believed that the faster something was, the better it was. Becoming a mechanic was his passion and he had just received his commercial driver license. He loved working on things and souped up everything he could. Even if something wasn't broken, he still fixed it. Anthony's family and friends will always remember his love for "soupin'" things up to go fast.

His memory will be cherished by his father, Gregory J. Reefer and fiancée, Debbie Cornman, of Rural Valley; mother, Elana (Anderson) Staschak and husband, Robert, of Latrobe; brother, Cory M. Black, of Indiana; paternal grandparents, James G. and Roberta (Blose) Reefer, of Shelocta; maternal grandparents, James A. and Alice (Ainsworth) Stitt, of Kittanning; step-sister, Cheyenne Cornman, of Rural Valley; uncle, Gary Reefer; aunts, Jaime McQuown, Sara Dosch and husband, Devon, and Amy Pomaybo and husband, Matthew; and significant other, Brittany Mattis, of Vandergrift.

Anthony was preceded in death by aunt, Jamie Stitt.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, 238 S. Main St., Elderton.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Carl A. Johnson officiating.

Interment will be in Atwood Cemetery, Atwood, PA.
