Ingeborg T. "Inge" Morris

Ingeborg T. "Inge" Morris, 90, of Sligo, PA passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024 at her home.

She was born on Sept. 4, 1934 in Nurnburg, Germany; the daughter of Hans and Theresia Passler.

Ingeborg resided in Sligo since 1956. She was previously employed with Parker Glass Plant and later Knox Glass Plant. Ingeborg was a former member of the ladies Auxiliary of Rimersburg VFW. She enjoyed playing BINGO and canasta.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, John L. Morris, Jr and wife, Sherri of Sligo; daughters, Judy T. Summerville of Sligo, Siglinda L. Graham of Sligo, and Joni L. Morris of Clarion; grandchildren, Tracy Girvan, Amy (Fred) Vasbinder, Mike (Tiffany) Morris, Kerry (Misty) Graham, Chris Morris, Kelly (Eric) Kribel, Kaitlin Morris, Allen Best, Jerry (April) Best, and Sonya Beihl; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild sister, Ingrid Egerer and husband, Helmut of Germany; niece, Bianca (Michi) Zeski and family; and nephew, Martin (Alex) Egerer and family; brother-in-law Paul Morris; and 3 sisters-in-laws, Susan, Kathy, and Marry.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, John Leroy Morris, whom she married on Sept. 14, 1955 and died on June 19, 1977; five brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.

Friends and family will be received from 6 - 8 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Hill officiating.

Interment will be in Cedarview Memorial Park, Strattanville, PA.
